Founded in 1962, the CVECA was organized by local electrical contractors as a means of providing a group support approach to industry problems. Our organization has grown over the years and has implemented other diverse programs and services. Our flagship program, the Apprenticeship Training Program, stands in the forefront.

The Mission of the CVECA:
The CVECA is dedicated to enhancing the industry through the process of continuing education and labor relations. This organization is the heart and soul of the area’s electrical contracting industry – striving to promote higher standards of work, quality workmanship, and a better working environment.
The Objectives of the CVECA:
To promote the common good and welfare of its members and activities in the profession of electrical contracting
To promote and maintain high standards of professional ethics and practice
To promote uniformity of practice
To advance education of electrical contractors and provide apprenticeship training for its employees
To aid and encourage the interests of all members of the organization
To establish better relations between electrical contractors and other professions
To promote closer relations, understanding, and cooperation in the profession
To promote open communication with local code enforcement authority
